Four Loko....indeed LOKO

So Four Loko is not really a beer, but they say is is equivalent to drinking a 6 pack in one big can so it has peaked my interests on how it can mess with some and why the FDA is pulling it from the market. SO I wanted to ask my readers...have you tried one of these energy inducing/alcoholic beverages? If so, what type of effect did it have on you and your body? Do you think the FDA should pull this drink off the market or let the creator make what he will and let the people decide for themselves if they want to drink it? Let me know in the comments!

  2. I think they should let them make it. If you read the whole story its all because of some frat party where a punch of people got sick, Everyone who got sick said it wasnt because of the drink but because of other drugs that were used. Its a joke that the FDA is trying to take this away, Its because its something they doent understand while they sip $300 wine in their home library.

  3. The FDA doesn't understand? Hahahaha

Let me ask, what does caffiene do?
    What does alcohol do?

What happens when you combine the two?

If you can answer those three with legit knowledge and consider the amount of both substances in the drink, you would easily understand the the FDA has a little insight into what's going on here, and why they are pulling it. And its not because of one single specific incident.

That said, I think it should stay on the market. Maybe it could use better labeling or better packaging sure, but when its so easy to make a red bull and vodka which in practicalities is the same thing, its not going to matter if this particular drink gets pulled. It would be like them pulling the premade cans of captain and coke off the market, it wouldn't do anything because people can still make captain and coke on their own.
